FAQ

Ordering & Products

What materials do you use?
We print in a range of materials including PLA, ABS, PETG, and TPU. Material options vary depending on the product and its intended use.  We can also print Carbon Fibre Filaments, Glow in the Dark, Silks and Gradient Colours.

Are your products made by you?
Yes and No. Our products are either designed in-house or printed under the appropriate commercial licenses from Makers across the globe.

Can I request a custom design?
Yes! We offer custom design and printing services. Contact us with your idea and we’ll discuss the options.

Can you print my own 3D file?
Absolutely. We accept STL, 3MF, and OBJ files for custom printing projects.  Contact us for more information.

Do you offer other colours?

Yes.  We try to use appropriate colours in most cases.  If you want a different colour or colour scheme, please contact us to discuss.  We try to keep our colours from the same manufacturer to ensure consistency, although sometimes colours may vary slightly.

Quality & Durability

Are 3D printed products durable?
Yes. Durability depends on the material used and the intended application. We select the most suitable material for each product.  Some products meant as display pieces may have fine details that can easily break.  Please take care when handling these.

Will there be visible print lines?
Most 3D printed items have subtle layer lines, which are a normal part of the manufacturing process.

Are the products waterproof?
Some materials offer good water resistance, but not all 3D printed items are fully waterproof.  If relevant, the model description will provide details.

Custom Orders

Can you resize a model?
In many cases, yes. Contact us before ordering to discuss sizing requirements.

Can you print replacement parts?
Often yes. If you can provide measurements, photos, or a 3D file, we can assess the project.

How much does custom printing cost?
Pricing depends on size, material, print time, and complexity. Contact us for a quote.

Care Instructions

Can 3D printed items be left in a hot car?
PLA products may soften in high temperatures. Keep them out of direct heat unless printed in a heat-resistant material.

How do I clean my 3D printed item?
Use a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals.

I broke part of my print...can I fix it?

Yes.  You can repair most snapped or broken parts with normal Superglue (CA Glue).  Only small amounts are needed to bond surfaces.  Please be careful with handling Superglue.

Are your prints okay to give to my young child?

While all due care is taken to ensure our products are safe, the nature of 3D Printing sometimes produces sharp edges, or parts that can break off and be swallowed.  Sometimes our prints contain small magnets and will be labelled accordingly.

PLEASE DO NOT LET CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS OLD PLAY WITH 3D PRINTS, FROM THIS SHOP OR ANYWHERE ELSE!  The risk just isn't worth it.

Business & Licensing

Are your products licensed?
Yes. We only sell products that we have designed ourselves or have the appropriate commercial rights to produce and sell.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes. Please contact us for bulk order and wholesale enquiries.
